The Moment In-Between

I love to reflect upon the quiet moments "in-between"... and opportunities to do this occur everyday.

With meditation, it's the pause between the inhale and the exhale.

With sleep, it's the moment between wakefulness and dreaming.

During this time of year, it's the week between Christmas and New Year's. This is my favorite part of the year...

Time to reflect upon what's been accomplished, what still needs to be completed and the new adventures and dreams that are waiting to be hatched. 

Time to sleep a little more, enjoy friends and family a little more, move a little more, breathe a little more.

I hope you, too, can take time for the moments "in-between" and relish in them.

January 1 will be here all too soon, and the quiet times will seem to disappear.

So, my friends, don't forget to breathe, to laugh, to sigh, to hug, to feel good whenever you can, whether it's during this week or in the weeks to come.
